Two similes and two metaphors!!

Yesterday I did a challenge with my  class where I had to work with a buddy and my buddy was Taliyah. we had to choose an image. With that image we had to write two similes and two metaphors about that picture. Then the rest of the class has to try and guess what the picture was.

The day the crayons quit!!

Dear Crystal, I am so tired of you using me every day for silly things like Oceans, lakes,rivers, the sky and other big things that are blue. You are just wasting all of my colour and I am sick of it. I am als0 sick of you pressing really hard when you use me and it hurts. I don’t know if you know this but crayons have feelings too. And pulse all the other crayons get used much less than I do and it’s not fear that I have to get used the most. I know that I am your favourite colour in the rainbow but you need to use all the other colours sometimes too. I don’t even get a holiday, How about you use me every 2 to 3 days instead of every single day. WOW, that would be nice. Have you every wondered what a blue crayon would want to be used for? Well, I have an answer for that… I would like to be used for little things like smurfs, Blueberries, and maybe a DIAMOND, Or maybe a blue bell flower. I keep on getting smaller and smaller and I am sick of it. So I am writing this letter to you to tell you that today is the day that I am QUITTING. So Yeah! Your very tired and small crayon, Blue Crayon!!!

M is for cat!!

Here is my DLO (Digital Learning Object). We were having fun with the alphabet and what one of my favourite animals does. We created our DLO using google drawings. In google drawings we can use word Art (I used this to create my heading), Change the backround colour, Insert images and write in a text box so the text is able to be moved around.
